Cervical Smears
Routine Cervical smears are performed by our practice nurses.
It is national policy to offer smears to women between the ages of 25 and 49 every 3 years and every 5 years for women aged 50 to 65 when the need for further smears usually ceases.
Women will be sent a reminder when their next smear test is due. The result of routine smears take about 4-6 weeks and will be posted to you directly.
