Use the Patient Access Support Centre before you call us.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can also place your repeat prescription request in the letter box at the surgery or in Reception.

We cannot accept requests over the telephone for prescriptions unless the patient is regsitered for the housebound delivery service.

Please only order items which are listed on the right hand side of your request prescription.

Our administrators have been trained to issue prescriptions but they do not have an in depth medical knowledge so please ensure that you provide as much detail from your repeat prescription as possible.

Please note that from Monday 4th February 2019 we will no longer be accepting on the day Emergency Requests for medication. Patients are advised to give suffifcent time to order their prescriptions from the surgery. Requests are dealt with Monday to Friday in normal opening hours.

It is the patient's responsibility to ensure repeat prescriptions are ordered in plenty of time.

Dispensing

Please arrange to collect your medication from a local Pharmacy.

Once you have requested your medication please allow 3 clear working days if you are collecting your medication from Paydens, Tesco or Sainsbury.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
